Kustoms Illustrated Issue #62 is hot off the press!
We have some great features this issue starting with our cool cover car, “Just a Dream.” This mild ’55 Ford Crown Victoria is actually a ‘70s Revival-era Survivor that has been given a new lease on life. Next up is another survivor. This time from the 1950s era. This unique shoebox Ford has an equally unique story behind it. It was started in the ‘50s and finished in the ‘80s and still going strong today. History wise, we have an update on the Joe Bailon “Candy Bird” that is currently being restored, as well as a story on east coast customizing legend Don Blake, who made a name for himself locally in the ‘50s customizing cars in New Jersey. We also have massive event coverage from the Custom Car Revival in Indianapolis, the Cruisin’ Nationals in Santa Maria, California, and the Kustomrama Invitational in Sweden.
